Larval Hostplant(s): Grape (Vitis) and Virginia creeper (Parthenocissus)
Range: A resident in the eastern United States west to the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
NENHP Ranking: Not listed.
Broods/Flight Times: A single brood with most Nebraska records from May into early June.
Habitat: Near woodlands supporting their hostplants.
Avg. Wingspan: 1 3/4 – 2 3/4 Inches
Found at: Gilbert-Baker WMA, Niobrara Valley Preserve, Rowe Sanctuary, Wildcat Hills SRA.
Overwintering: As pupa in the soil.
