Status: Rare western resident, possibly extirpated.

Range: This species is found from western Alaska southeast to northern New Mexico. It has been recorded from the westernmost panhandle counties in Nebraska.
Larval Hostplant(s): Stonecrop (Sedum lanceolatum).
Broods/Flight Times: One early summer flight from mid June to mid July.
Overwintering: As an egg or partially grown larvae.
Habitat: Old literature and specimens in the University of Nebraska – Lincoln collection suggest this species was common in the Sioux County canyonlands in the early 1900s.
Avg. Wingspan: 1 3/4 – 2 1/2 inches
