Range: South America into Texas and Florida, straying northward from there.

Larval Hostplant(s): Rice, sugarcane and tropetilla grass, none of which grow here.

Broods/Flight Times: Year round in Florida and Texas.

Overwintering: Not in this area.

Habitat: As a stray could be found anywhere.

Avg. Wingspan: 1 3/8 – 1 11/16 inches
