Range: Occupies the eastern United States west into Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas
Larval Hostplant(s): Among listed hostplants Walnut (Juglans), Hickory (Carya) and Sumacs (Rhus) are most likely to be utilized here.

Broods/Flight Times: Two broods in southeastern portions of the state. At least one elsewhere.
Habitat: In/near deciduous woodlands.
Avg. Wingspan: 3 – 4 Inches
Found at: Fontenelle Forest, Homestead National Monument, Indian Cave State Park, Kinter’s Ford Wildlife Management Area.
Overwintering: as pupa in cocoons.
