Status: Occasional resident

NENHP Ranking: S1

Range: The Arrowhead Blue is found in western North America from southern Alberta and British Columbia south into northern New Mexico and Arizona and southern California. In Nebraska it is restricted to the canyon lands of Sioux County in the northwest corner of the state.

Broods/Flight Times: One early summer flight from late May to late June

Larval Hostplant(s): Silvery Lupine (Lupinus argentis) and Milkvetches (Astragalus species)

Habitat: The Arrowhead Blue has been found along streamsides and in moister areas in Pine Ridge canyons.

Found at: Gilbert-Baker SWMA, Sowbelly Canyon

Overwintering: As pupae
