Status: Very rare stray from the southern US

Range: The Barred Yellow is a resident from Argentina to Mexico and extreme southern portions of Florida and Texas. It occasionally strays north as far as South Dakota.

Broods/Flight Times: Year round in its southern home range

Larval Hostplant(s): Various legumes of which the following genera occur in Nebraska: CassiaStrophostyles and Glycyrrhiza.

Habitat: As a stray it could occur anywhere
