Status: Very rare stray

NENHP Ranking: Not listed

Range: South America north to the southernmost United States, straying north from there.

Broods/Flight Times: year round in Texas

Larval Hostplant(s): Partridge pea (Cassia brachiata) and mesquites (Prosopis species), 

Habitat: As a stray it might occur anywhere

Found at:

Overwintering: Not in our area

Similar Species: Reakirt’s and Marine Blues
